4/17/10 Im still in it. Got these knee issues but i am still standing. I am hoping for a good report on Monday regarding my knees.
I ve got to keep track of my accomplishments big and small...I have already mentioned my fears in the pool. Yet, I keep going doing my thing. I was there Friday morning and both of the outside lanes were occupied. Only the two middle lanes were open. I was determined to follow through on my plan. So, I got in and started my jog from one end of the pool to the other. I noticed that when I got to the middle of the lane the water hit me higher up then it normally does when I am in the outter lanes. But,I didn't get nervous this time. I kept going. I actually got in the outter lane when someone left. But I returned to the middle lane again to finish my workout as I realized that the deeper water added to my workout!
On Tuesday, in kettlebell, on the swings Dre suggested we try a weight heavier than we have used before. I tried the 20 lbs! Little by litte....one step at a time......
Though my clothes are fitting much looser, I know I could be eating cleaner. Its almost like my psychie doesnt want me to lose too much weight and subconsciously I eat something knowing its not the best choice. Still working on a sister!>>>>

Roz you are such an inspiration to me. I watch you work through your knee pain and it encourages me not to even complain about my foot. They say any major, positive change one makes in life (weight, relationships,etc.,) requires one to go deep within themselves to challenge those fears that come up as we began to accomplish our goals. Though I don't say much about it ... I have mine too. We must all remember: "God did not give his children the spirit of fear". Fear is of the devils making. On a funny note ... in the words of Brown (Madea) ... " the devil is a LIAR!!!
Roz, you got this! You have made some major strides. Remember the compliments Mark gave you. Give your knee some time to recuperate then hit it. If you have to take time off because of your knee, then make sure you are eating super clean on those days!
