WEEK 13

Today was the “fit” test … I’m still here, but wow … I’ve really got to work on my endurance. We had to run 2 miles, but it felt like five. Man … just a few years ago, 2 miles was a warm-up for me. Oh well, just another goal to strive for.

WEEK 12
This was a crazy busy week, so I didn’t journal like I normally do. At any rate, overall this was a good week. I started to try and eat 5 times/day (every 3 hours), which is a REAL challenge. I’m determined to make this a habit.
On Saturday, I was looking at myself in the mirror and I must say I am starting to see the fruits of my labor! It feels wonderful! I don’t want to start getting too excited though ,,, I’ve still got some pounds to shed and inches to lose before I reach my ideal size.
I also treated myself and got my hair done for a change this week! Hey! I’ve been going hard for 3 months and I deserved it! In all seriousness though, I believe in rewarding myself when I reach a milestone … It’s important that we do that. Whether it’s a new workout outfit, shoes, day at the spa … whatever … treat yourself!
WEEK 11

Today was crazy busy, birthday party for son’s classmate 10:30 a.m., track meet afterwards, dinner at friends house in suburbs at 4:00. Crazy busy. I only got in 1.5 miles on the treadmill. My plan was to come home and finish up with weights, of course that did not happen. I know better … gotta plan around these types of days.
I’m disappointed in myself because I ate crap. I know better.
