Today was crazy busy, birthday party for son’s classmate 10:30 a.m., track meet afterwards, dinner at friends house in suburbs at 4:00. Crazy busy. I only got in 1.5 miles on the treadmill and a few reps of arms. My plan was to come home and finish up with weights, of course that did not happen.
I’m disappointed with myself because I ate crap. I know better … gotta plan around these types of days.

C3 was a BEAST of a workout today! Damn! It was HOT HOT HOT in the gym today, I thought I was going to black out for sure … I managed to get through … BARELY! I’m sure I lost 5lbs from sweating alone. Days like this are tough, but worth the work. I wanted to stop so many times but I just kept talking to myself. Everyone in the class worked so hard despite the heat.
Now I’m not gonna sit here and say during the push-up walk I didn’t have to drop to my knees a few times, but I kept going. I made it! Dizzy as all get out and my damn foot is killing me, but I’m still here!
As I always tell Dre, I’m gonna be the finest, fittest, 40-something with a walker on the planet! Thanks for the “beat down” Dre … though I didn’t have my watch properly set I’m with you at least 600 calories.

Dre gave us some sample meal options. Gonna start following this will keep you posted. Though I stated I was going to eat even cleaner this month I didn’t have any clear-cut strategy/goal, this will certainly help out.

Had a crazy busy day today … work, track meet, finish taxes, bathe son, return work email, etc., etc., … but I managed to get my workout(s) in. I had to break my workout into two sessions – as much as I hate doing that - I had to get my goal in. Knocked out my 30 minutes of cardio early and then “walked” off – yeah “walked” … a mile … so there - my remaining calories late last night. I didn’t care how I got it done I just had to hit my daily exercise goal.
Shout out to my hubby Mickey, who supports me no matter WHAT! Thanks babe I love you, couldn’t do any of this without you! Just thought you should know!

Okay I partook of the spirits last night. No not church … alcohol! Had a few co-workers over and we got our drink on. That’s it for me … back to clean eating. I made it to and through kettle bells this morning and you know I didn’t want to go.
Thanks Merica (kettle bell diva) for noticing the changes in my weight! You made my day and gave me more PUSH to stay focused!

Good workout! She wore my tail out today in C3, but it was a good one. She turned on the classic MJ (You wanna be starting something) “ mama say mamma saw ma maw cu saw …” , at the right moment, cuz I was about to fallout! I don’t know what it is about that song, but that pumped me up and kept me going!!

Hey ya’ll I dodged a bullet Tuesday… my company laid off 400 people – w/less than a days notice. A few friends of mine were ‘displaced’ –as they like 2 call it . . . which just makes me feel like crap. Please pray for them . . . I kmow God takes care of his children.
On the workout tip, needless 2 say I 2asnt feeling it again, but we did our first weigh-in since the beginning of the challenge and Dre’s scale n mine both confirm a 7lb weight loss!! I’m happy, however, im still a long way from my goals. I am encouraged and motivated!

You are doing great!! Keep pushing and if you miss a workout or screw up your diet, don't sweat it. Try harder the next day. You got this!!
Hey Gurl! You are doing it! I dont think we have to be perfect but just keep striving to do better each day. You are an inspiration to me also. I am now trying to concentrate more on my arm work so I can have arms like yours!
